The Halloway guide
A watch case to travel and protect
A watch loose in a bag can scratch against keys, bump into a pouch or end up with a bent strap. A case solves this with separate cushions and a flap that stays closed. It does not wind the watch or need power, making it suitable for automatic, quartz and hand-wound watches alike.
How many watches to take away
One watch. Camden 1, cognac exterior and camel lining, is the simplest format. Hadley 1 resumes the principle in patinated brown, taupe lining, with a slit front edge.
Two watches. Hadley 2 and Ascot 2, forest green with faceted sides, separate the two watches with a central divider: the everyday watch and the evening watch do not touch.
Three watches. Hadley 3 lines them up beneath a press-stud flap. Belsize 3 chooses a rigid lid and zippered closure, more protective in a luggage.
Six to eight watches. Hadley 6 and Holborn 6, black and camel, put six watches on two rows of three. Hadley 8 holds eight: an entire collection in a format you can still carry.
Flap or zip?
A press-stud flap opens in one movement and keeps the case flexible. A zip closure and rigid lid provide better protection from pressure in a packed suitcase. For tightly packed cabin luggage, choose a zip; for a weekend bag, a flap is sufficient.
Removable cushions
Each cushion withdraws to pass the bracelet without forcing. Do not tighten a leather strap on too wide a cushion: the deformation becomes permanent. For a particularly thick case, write to us with the reference before ordering.
Case, box or winder
A case travels with you. At home, a glass box stores and displays the collection. If you travel with an automatic watch with complications, Brompton 1 is a winder single-watch travel winder.

Our finishing names describe a visual aspect. Visuals are illustrative stagings, watches not included, and the shades vary according to the screens.
