The right words

A finish describes
what you see.

Brown wood finish, black lacquer, carbon effect or patinated brown: these names describe colour, grain and sheen. They do not identify a certified species, solid wood, woven carbon or leather of guaranteed origin.

The collection, up close

The warmth of grain.

Visible-grain finishes range from reddish brown to very dark brown. Depending on the model, the surface is satin or glossy: the same warm spirit, with a different presence in a room.

The strength of contrast.

A dark exterior frames the watches and lets the dials stand out. Lacquer reflects light; matte finishes are more understated. Clarendon’s cognac interior adds a warmer note.

Kensington’s carbon-effect pattern and orange stitching create a more technical character. This is a decorative finish: the pattern gives the box its identity, without certifying carbon construction.
