The Halloway guide
The Blackwood line, black winders
Blackwood follows our vertical, glass-fronted construction in matt black with carbon-look inserts. It is our most contemporary range, favouring graphic lines over patina.
The design approach
The front is clean, without a visible lock or side trim. The dark interior recedes, leaving the dials in the foreground. Choose it when the winder should disappear behind the watches rather than frame them.
Inserts with a regular, technical pattern structure the front and break up the larger formats. We call them carbon-look because this describes their appearance; we do not claim they are structural composites.
The three capacities
Blackwood 4 arranges four slots in two rows of two. It is the starting point of the range and its most versatile format.
Blackwood 6 arranges six slots in three columns and two rows. Wide rather than tall, it sits flat and gives a direct view of all six dials without leaning over.
Blackwood 12 pushes the line to its end, a grid full of twelve individual slots where each watch receives the same treatment.
Good to know
Matt black shows fewer fingerprints than glossy lacquer, but should still be dusted with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid solvents, alcohol and impregnated wipes. See our Care and warranty.
