The Halloway guide

A watch box to store, protect and display

A watch spends half its life off your wrist. Loose in a drawer, it rubs against its neighbors; left out, it collects dust. A box solves both, with no motor and no power cord.

Unlike a watch winder, a box works for every watch: automatic, quartz or hand-wound. It is the safe pick for a mixed collection.

Our watch boxes

Kensington. Carbon-look covering, orange stitching, silver-tone clasp. Kensington 6 holds six watches in one row; Kensington 10 holds ten in two rows.

Clarendon. Matte black outside, cognac inside, gold-tone hardware. Clarendon 6 in one row, Clarendon 10 in two.

Wood finishes. Chelsea 6 pairs varnished brown wood grain with a camel interior. Chester 5 sets five watches on gray with a gold-tone medallion. Windsor 8 holds eight in glossy red wood.

Six or ten slots

A single row keeps every dial at the same height and fits a deep drawer. Two rows nearly double the capacity for about the same width, with more depth. Count your watches, add two, and pick the size that leaves room to grow.

About the glass lid

Your collection stays on view without opening the box. The flip side: sunlight through the glass slowly yellows light dials and dries out leather straps. Keep the box out of direct sun.

Removable pillows

Each pillow comes out, so you can fit a thicker case or rearrange the layout. Never force a strap around a pillow that is too wide; leather takes the shape for good.
